"Policing with Integrity, & making our community our priority"

Bayfield Marshal's Office Partners with Nextdoor,

the Private Social Network for Neighborhoods!

This allows us to communicate online with Bayfield neighborhoods which allows us to be able to share helpful information such as important crime alerts, emergency notifications, safety precautions & updates on activity affecting the local area. Click the link to the left to sign up today!

Law Enforcement fatality's are up 19% over the previous year. We will display the badges for all fallen officers in Colorado in respect for their sacrifice on or off duty.

The ETSA (Emergency Telephone Service Association)  of La Plata County has launched a new emergency notification system. This system will be used by your local emergency response team in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts, throughout La Plata County.  Examples include: evacuation notices, bio-terrorism alerts, boil water notices, and missing child reports. Enrolling allows you to register your cell phone, VoIP phone, or unregistered phone number to your address.  You will receive alerts when an event occurs in your area. You can opt into the system here: https://public.coderedweb.com/CNE/BFEA18547A8D
