In March 2018 during police week, Marshal McIntyre honored his staff with a law enforcement appreciation dinner where each Bayfield deputy was presented with a personalized award. The Attorney General for Colorado also gave a speech and presented the Bayfield Marshal's Office with the Excellence in Law Enforcement award.
